The users need admin rights on the machine to install the Inventory Scan application and to configure the scanner drivers. Write access to a Grainger folder under C:\Program Files.
Internet connection with no firewall or proxy server restrictions.
One free serial COM port, COM1 – COM4
Hardware requirements:
- 4 MB to install USB drivers for scanner.
- 25 MB to install Grainger Inventory Scan application.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (If not present, will be installed from the CD)
- Hard disk space of 280 MB (32-bit) and 610 MB (64-bit)
- 96 MB RAM
- 400 MHz processor
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 with Service Pack 1.
- Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 for data access applications.
- Windows Installer version 3.0.
